"It was January 19th 2021, I had just gotten the all clear from my
Consultant ; this is my story ;
I was recovering from a knee and tendon injury , my bones were all achy, I was bloated and was feeling absolutely terrible, I had gained 4 stone over a three year period .
I was entering my fourth year post breast cancer and I was blaming the Tamoxifen and early menopause for my weight gain . I had tried and failed to loose weight over and over again and while I might loose a few pounds it all would go back on.
I heard about West Cork Nutrition and Wellbeing from a friend and so my journey started on January 20th 2021 when I met Letitia Moss , the
nutritionist who I can say without hesitation has been inspirational on my journey .
Letitia talked me through an individualised plan , explained everything in detail and followed up with me regularly with sourced material and recipes while always being so encouraging and supportive .
We meet weekly for a session and weigh in , Letitia is absolutely wonderful , very knowledgeable and has devised a plan for me that consists of wholesome food, with many and varied recipes that Letitia has sourced for me , mostly foods that I like .
While my success to date is that I have lost just over 2 stone the real success is the way I feel !
I am now very energetic , I am sleeping better , my pains and aches are vastly improved , I no longer suffer from indigestion and people tell me I am looking great.
I am still on my journey but I can honestly say I will never return to my prior eating pattern . I do not view this plan as a diet , it consists of
healthy foods , wholesome foods and I can honestly say I have actually never ate so much tasty food.
I am looking forward to the summer so that I can wear the clothes that I want to and engage in activities without feeling all pains and aches like I did for the past 3 years .
